The Guajira desert is a tourist and exotic place where large coal reserves are exploited. Located in the extreme north of our country, Colombia.

The water is. It hides under the dry and arid sand this is a very visited place thanks to its diversity of desert landscapes that make its visitors enjoy a different panorama than the ordinary.

There we can find a very interesting ethnic group, the Wayuu, who, thanks to their customs and ways of life, seem to be a different world and hidden under an arid desert that survive by their way of sensors to the environment a little forgotten by the government of our country.

I think that my department is one of the most privileged thanks to its strong people and a warrior spirit that shows that despite their scarce survival resources they have maintained their culture. In addition to this, it has beautiful beaches similar to a paradise, its interesting beautiful sunsets that vary their diversity of colors.

I really enjoy when I refer to this subject with greatness and at the same time with fragility since some of its ecosystems are valued as intangible reserves by the Wayuu.

El desierto de la guajira es un lugar turístico y exótico donde se explota grandes reservas de carbón .ubicado al  extremo norte de nuestro país Colombia

El agua se. esconde bajo la arena seca y árida este es un lugar muy visitado gracias a su diversidad de paisajes desérticos que hacen que sus visitantes puedan disfrutar de un panorama diferente a lo común.

Allí podemos apreciar una etnia muy interesante los wayuu que gracias a sus costumbres y formas de vida pareciera un mundo diferente y oculto bajo un árido desierto al que sobreviven por su forma  de adaptarse al entorno un poco olvidado por el gobierno de nuestro país.

Pienso que mi departamento es uno de los mas privilegiados gracias a su gente pujante y con un espíritu guerrero  que demuestra que apesar de sus escasos recursos de supervivencia han mantenido su cultura .Ademas de esto posee unas playas hermosas  parecidas a un paraíso,son interesantes  sus bellos atardeceres  que varían sus diversidad de  colores  .

Disfruto mucho   cuando me refiero a este tema con grandeza y a la vez  con fragilidad ya que algunos  de sus ecosistemas  son valorados como reservas intangibles por los wayuu.
